Okay. I've finished chapter two of It is Time. And when I update, I'm going to rename the title to From Time to Time. Ah, that's so much better, isn't it?

This chapter is 26 pages long. o.O It looks like although I expect the series to be on the shorter side chapter-wise, the chapters themselves might come out a little long. That's because I plan the chapters to be very episodic. That is, each chapter is intended to be a single "episode". Within each chapter, a leap will be started and completed.

hehe yes... I've given this way too much thought for a "just-for-fun" piece.

I think the opening to the chapter is excellent and very funny. Also, it hints at some things that I have planned for later chapters. I'm worried about what I've done with Eriol's character, though. He's just not very... Eriol. But hopefully I can change that in subsequent chapters. I never was one for character introduction.

Anyway, as soon as I can get this proofread, I'll get it out there. I'm so glad to have finally completed something. Even if it did take me all summer...

Now the only thing to work on is chapter two of Hagaren Country. It's certainly coming along. I hit major writer's block around getting the two groups to meet, but after that it started flowing better. I can't promised an exact date of completetion (school starts on Monday), but an update should be on the way soon.

Here's to hoping, anyway.

I haven't been writing lately. Why? Because somehow, someway, I've been slowly developing a social life (*dun dun duuuuuun*). As a writer, this is a debilitating habit to contract--almost on the same level as a musician going deaf. Seeing as how I have even less free time than normal during the summer since I've taken on more hours at work, having a social life makes it extremely difficult to get into a writing groove. Take yesterday (Saturday) for example. Usually, I'd sit around my apartment with a bag of carrots and thirty gallons of Crystal Lite and cherry Pepsi, writing my little heart out. However, I spent four hours yesterday down at the boardwalk with my friends eating a lot of really, really bad (but delicious) food. ;P Then we saw Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and then we came home and talked about it for another two hours. I finally crawled into bed at 2am without even booting up my computer once during the day. This is very rare for me, but it's been happening more and more often.

The good news is that one of these friends is leaving Tuesday to spend two and a half weeks in Tokyo with her Japanese boyfriend (let's all take a moment to hate her guts... haha I'm just joking--sort of). This will free up a lot of social time since she's one of the main reasons I'm so "out-and-about".

I'm not saying that I'm sad that I'm making friends, but I haven't found the right way to balance social time and writing time. I've always been a loner, so suddenly finding myself with all this stuff to do is kind of daunting and rather... draining. I don't know how you socialites do it! I can barely keep track of five friends--let alone five-hundred like some other people I know.

Anyway, I've been just writing bits and pieces of stuff lately (including some really, really, really bad stuff for Hagaren Country that no one will ever see lest they want their brains to explode). Episode 2 for It is Time is, literally, paragraphs away from finished, but I just can't find the right flow of action to get the words across. Hagaren Country is coming a long very slowly. I know this is the one that everyone is clamoring for, but I just can't push it along. So, I'm going to finish up this chapter for IiT and then I'll focus all my energy on Chaptire.II of HC. And, until I hit some major writer's block, I'll alternate between the two like that until one of them gets finished.

Well, that's the plan anyway. Who knows how it'll work out?

I don't have much to say other than: School is finally out. That means I can get back to writing fanfiction. *waves little flag*

Nothing is quite ready yet, but an update to It is Time is coming soon. As I mentioned before, I now have a complete storyline for it from beginning to end. I've haven't written an outline yet, but I will just as soon as I get chapter 2 written up. Oh yeah, and I'm changing the title to Time and Again. Doesn't that sound much better? I read it off a book at the library and got all frustrated that I didn't think of it first when I noticed that there are a lot of novels with the same title. So even though I didn't come up with the title myself, I feel justified by the fact that I probably won't be the last one to use it either. Anyway, the second chapter is coming along nicely, so look for an update soon.

Hagaren Country has been kind of neglected in the light of my strange Quantum Leap obsession. I don't have a solid plot yet, but I do have an idea for the next chapter. It certainly seems to be the most popular out of my current stories, so I'll work hard to update with that soon too.

Well, that's all I have to say. Now it's off to write before work. :D
